Based on an AIM conversation between me and JustinZ, so partial credit to him.I was at the Bamboozle Festival yesterday, at the Meadowlands. It was AMAZING. I had never been to a concert before, except to some school functions and an Art Garfunkel concert a long time ago. It was really awesome. Tickets ended up being 70USD with shipping, because I was too lazy to order the tickets until last weekend. It was totally worth it, though.
I went to it to see My Chemical Romance (favourite band, along with Pink Floyd and Tool), who were really good. I also saw a bunch of smaller bands, none of which I'd heard of before, and bought lots of CDs. I am now officially in love with a band called Split Fifty (www.splitfifty.com), because their music is awesome and because they were giving out free hugs. Buy their CD. They're really good. I just ordered a copy. Can't wait 'til it gets here. *fangirlish squeak*
